With the kind help of the Columbia Basin Trust the BLCS will be adding 25 new trees to the grounds at the Baynes Lake Community Hall. We are looking for volunteers to help us on planting days!
We have a backhoe lined up for all the heavy lifting but could use extra hands and shovels to help remove the burlap and back fill the holes, etc.
Trees arrive late morning on Thursday April 21, so we are looking for volunteers Thursday 1PM and Friday starting 9AM weather permitting. If the weather doesn't cooperate we will reschedule for as soon as we can.
If anyone would like to come a little earlier on Thursday we also have 18 new folding picnic tables to assemble. Bring your own Phillips screwdriver or 11 mm socket driver.
Bring your gloves, shovels and positive attitudes and help with this fun project!
